The impact of the Erasmus+ KA220 project SUDEM – Sustainable Disaster and Emergency Management Processes Digitization continues to be reflected in international scientific research. Two papers published in the proceedings of the 2025 IEEE 13th International Conference on Intelligent Data Acquisition and Advanced Computing Systems: Technology and Applications (IDAACS 2025) include an acknowledgement of the SUDEM project, demonstrating its contribution to advancing research in intelligent computing systems and digital technologies.
Although addressing different research topics, both publications acknowledge the support of the SUDEM project and illustrate how its interdisciplinary framework contributes to the development of innovative digital solutions relevant to modern information systems, cybersecurity, and trustworthy computing.
The first paper, “Multi-Agent System for Detecting Polymorphic Viruses in Computer Networks,” presents a multi-agent approach for improving the detection of polymorphic malware in computer networks. The research contributes to strengthening cybersecurity and intelligent monitoring capabilities, which are essential components of resilient digital infrastructures.
The second paper, “Zero-Knowledge Proof Protocol based on the RRNS,” introduces an advanced cryptographic protocol based on the Residue Number System, providing enhanced security and privacy mechanisms for distributed digital systems and secure communications.
The acknowledgement of the SUDEM project in these publications reflects the broader scientific impact of the project beyond disaster and emergency management. It demonstrates how the project’s interdisciplinary approach supports research in artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, distributed computing, digital resilience, and trustworthy information technologies.
The publications were presented at IEEE IDAACS 2025, one of the leading international conferences on intelligent data acquisition and advanced computing systems, bringing together researchers from academia and industry worldwide.
