The SUDEM curriculum has been designed as a multidisciplinary higher education and lifelong learning package supporting the digitalisation of disaster and emergency management processes. It combines technical, organisational, and strategic perspectives while addressing the complete disaster management lifecycle through modern digital technologies, data-driven decision support, artificial intelligence, IoT, and resilience engineering.
Curriculum structure

Each course consists of lectures, learning materials, and practical activities designed to develop interdisciplinary competences in disaster and emergency management. Together, the curriculum equips students and professionals with knowledge and practical skills in disaster monitoring, decision support, artificial intelligence, IoT technologies, resilience engineering, nuclear safety, and future-oriented approaches to disaster management.
